Trusted Humans

An emerging idea, not a certification

Trusted Humans describes people who want to contribute through their actions, reflections, stories or support for the mission.

What this is — and what it is not

Being a Trusted Human is not a status that is awarded, verified or withdrawn. No one is investigated, assessed, scored or formally judged as trustworthy. Trusting World is not a certification authority and has no intention of becoming one.

The idea is much simpler: some people want to take part in making others feel trusted, valued and recognised, and would like a way to do that alongside others.

Everyday actions

Almost all of this happens in ordinary moments rather than grand gestures:

  • Doing what you said you would do, or saying early that you cannot.
  • Giving someone responsibility slightly before they feel ready.
  • Naming a person's contribution out loud, especially when they are not expecting it.
  • Listening without preparing your reply.
  • Being honest about a mistake before someone else finds it.
  • Assuming good intent for one more conversation than feels comfortable.

Possible future participation

In time there may be ways to take part: reading and responding to reflections, sharing experiences of being trusted or trusting others, supporting practical initiatives, or bringing these principles into your own workplace. The exact shape has not been decided.
