A more trusting world begins with how we see and treat one another.

Trusting World exists to contribute to a world in which 100 million people feel more trusted, valued and recognised.

Why trust matters

Trust quietly shapes almost everything we share with one another. It influences how families speak, how colleagues work, how neighbours meet and how communities hold together when things become difficult.

When people feel trusted, they tend to contribute more openly. When trust is absent, even simple conversations become guarded. Many people carry the experience of being doubted, overlooked or reduced to their usefulness — and it changes how they see their own value.

Trusting World begins from a simple belief: trust is built and repaired through ordinary, repeatable human behaviour, not through slogans or credentials.

The Quiet Gift of Being Trusted

When someone trusts us, they are not only expressing confidence in what we can do. They are also telling us something about who they believe we can be.

The vision

One hundred million is a direction, not a scoreboard.

The ambition of 100 million people feeling more trusted, valued and recognised is a long-term contribution rather than a claim about what has already happened. Trusting World is at the very beginning of that work.

It will be pursued through individual actions, honest stories, practical initiatives and collaboration with people and organisations who share the same intention. Progress will be described honestly, including what remains unproven.

From reflection to action

People

Trusted Humans is an emerging idea: people who want to contribute through everyday actions, reflections and shared stories.

Initiatives

Practical projects that apply these principles in real working relationships, beginning with BuildTrusted.

Forthcoming book

A book about becoming people others can rely on

Ondrej Tyrpak is writing a book about how we become more trustworthy human beings, and how we help the people around us feel trusted, valued and recognised.

It is written from lived experience rather than theory: what trust makes possible, how easily it breaks, and what it takes to rebuild.

The founder

Trusting World was founded by Ondrej Tyrpak, a Slovak-born entrepreneur and leader living in the Netherlands. His work across countries, and across hospitality, property management, construction, leadership and entrepreneurial communities, brought him into contact with many kinds of working relationships.

Those years showed him both the value and the fragility of trust — how much becomes possible when it is present, and how quickly people withdraw when it is lost. Trusting World exists to explore how trust can be built, protected and restored.

First practical initiative

BuildTrusted

BuildTrusted applies the principles of trust, transparency and accountability to relationships between clients and construction professionals.

It is an independent initiative and the first place where these ideas are being tested through practical, everyday work.

An invitation to follow the journey

Trusting World is only beginning. In time, there will be reflections to read, stories to share and meaningful ways to take part. For now, the invitation is simple: notice where trust is present in your own life, and look for an opportunity to help someone feel trusted, valued or recognised.
